- Organise travel and logistics for reporters and crews, including international assignments
- Assist with scheduling and managing staff training sessions, keeping records up to date
- Support sustainability projects that reduce environmental impact in production
- Help plan and deliver internal and external events for staff and audiences
- Work with editorial and technical teams to ensure resources are ready for live and recorded news output
On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you may apply for roles such as Production Management Assistant, Production Secretary or Production Coordinator, depending on experience both inside and outside the BBC.

- Enthusiastic and motivated self‑starter, flexible and adaptable to out‑of‑hours working
- Be at least 18 years old when the apprenticeship starts in September 2026
- Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years before the start of the apprenticeship
- Be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship
- Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship programme
- For candidates under 19 at the start of the apprenticeship, hold 4th‑year UK GCSE (maths and English) at Grade 4/C or equivalent, or meet the alternative criteria set by the BBC
This fixed‑term apprenticeship lasts for 17 months. Relocation support may be provided to a limited number of apprentices each year, subject to qualifying criteria.
