Salary: £35-43,000 DOE
About the company:
A dynamic, award-winning architecture studio is looking for a passionate and experienced Architect to join its central Cardiff studio. The successful candidate will lead full-lifecycle construction projects across a diverse and impactful portfolio- ranging from education, commercial, blue-light, to industrial sectors, and work within a collaborative and socially responsible practice that values innovation, integrity, and sustainable design.

Daily Duties
Lead the design and delivery of architectural projects through the full construction lifecycle
Manage project teams, coordinating personnel and consultants to ensure high-quality outcomes
Produce technical and construction documentation, applying strong technical knowledge
Use Revit to model and develop architectural designs
Work confidently with various procurement routes, including traditional and design & build
Guide projects through RIBA Plan of Work stages, ideally from inception to contract administration
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, including contracts, building codes, and building regulations
Ideal Candidate
At least several years' post-qualification experience with leadership responsibilities on architectural projects
Strong design capability supported by deep technical understanding of construction and detailing
Proficient in Revit with good BIM awareness
Experience delivering projects through both traditional and design & build procurement routes
Excellent client-facing and commercial awareness skills
A collaborative team player with strong motivation, delegation, and people-management abilities
Ideally experienced across all RIBA Plan of Work stages
Solid understanding of contracts, regulations, and industry codes
