Position: Landscape/ Senior Landscape Architect

Access has partnered with an SME environmental consultancy primarily based in Cardiff. Due to their recent company growth, they are looking to expand their landscape team and therefore are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Landscape Architect. The practice covers a range of disciplines such as Landscape architecture, ecology, planning, and arboriculture, so you will be working with a wide range of professionals due to the close-knit working style within the team, giving you the opportunity to develop those skills further if you wish.

The company boasts an interesting portfolio of design and assessments for major highway, public realm, feasibility and management studies, schools, renewable energy, and development projects across Wales, the West Midlands, and Southwest England for both the public and private sectors. Further to this, you will have the opportunity to also work on a wide range of other projects including residential, healthcare, parks, rural land management, and conservation.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a high quality level of design skills, as well as written output for landscape, urban design, and landscape assessment. You will also be working on a variety of projects, so the flexibility to switch is essential. In addition, you must also be experienced in managing your own projects as well as a small team. Candidates must also be confident to work independently whilst on site.

Experience:

  • Chartered (preferred but not essential)
