With over 30 years of industry presence, they are now seeking an Assistant Structural Engineer to join their growing team due to continued project success and a strong project pipeline. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious structural engineer looking to take the next step from a Graduate or Junior position and join a forward-thinking consultancy, working alongside and learning from two Chartered Structural Engineers within the business.

Assistant Structural Engineer Job Overview Assist in the design and analysis of structural elements across a range of residential, commercial and industrial projects. Produce detailed structural drawings, calculations and technical reports under the guidance of senior engineers. Work closely with two Chartered Structural Engineers to develop technical knowledge and professional competence. Attend site visits, surveys and client meetings to support ongoing projects and gain practical experience.

Contribute to the preparation of design documentation using software such as AutoCAD and Tekla. Collaborate with civil engineers, architects and contractors to ensure coordinated and efficient project delivery. Support the preparation of reports, design schedules and technical submissions for planning and construction. Assistant Structural Engineer

Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience within a UK structural or civil engineering consultancy. Ambitious to achieve chartership and progress quickly in their career. Committed to office-based work (5 days per week) to benefit fully from mentorship and development. Positive attitude, strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
