Information Manager – WSP, UK & Ireland
WSP, a global engineering and professional services firm, is looking to hire an Information Manager to support its robust pipeline of secured projects across the UK and Ireland. The role is part of the Earth & Environment discipline and focuses on information management, BIM execution and CDE governance.
About the TeamThe Information Management team is a high‑performing, environmentally focused group that delivers project management and information management support on projects. The team works closely with PMO, Project Controls and BIM functions across all stages of the project delivery cycle.
Your New Role – What’s Involved?- Implement and manage information‑management processes in line with ISO 19650 standards.
- Develop and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure it is used effectively.
- Prepare and manage the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP).
- Develop and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) to comply with project requirements and ISO 19650.
- Manage Project Information‑Exchange requirements to facilitate seamless stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate on and communicate information‑standards, methods and procedures with the BIM Manager/Digital Lead.
- Maintain a security‑mindset, ensuring correct access rights for all users.
- Provide training on information‑management systems and conduct ongoing quality control of project deliverables.
- Support review, exchange and distribution of drawings and models while maintaining consistent naming standards (ISO 19650).
- Relevant experience in BIM and project information management.
- Strong communication skills – both in person and through digital channels.
- Collaborative attitude and determination to learn new skills and solve problems.
- Degree in a relevant discipline (environment, project management, engineering, science, building or quantity surveying) or equivalent professional experience and qualifications.
- Experience working in a project or PMO environment.
- Knowledge of Common Data Environments (CDEs) and ISO 19650 standards.
- Familiarity with information-management frameworks and best practices.
