Principal Civil Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Skanska Technology team in Bridgend.

• Deliver technically robust, standards-compliant designs and clear technical deliverables, leveraging BIM and structural analysis tools.
• Plan and execute projects to meet time, cost and quality targets, managing budgets and commercial/contractual risks.
• Manage tasks, people and resources day-to-day to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead and develop teams, identifying skill gaps and exercising sound holistic judgement.
• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with clients, contractors and the supply chain; ensure H&S and environmental compliance.

• An effective team player.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to varied workload/type.
• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• Good organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Performance focussed.
• Challenge tried and tested methods to deliver innovative, fit-for-purpose and cost-effective solutions.
