Let Us Tell You About The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Dealer Oversight Analyst to join our Motor Finance team, a key role ensuring our intermediary network operates with integrity, compliance, and a focus on delivering great customer outcomes. As a responsible lender, we take pride in maintaining the highest standards across our Motor dealer and broker partnerships. You’ll play a vital role in providing assurance to the business through proactive oversight, data‑led monitoring, and strong collaboration across teams such as Sales, Operations, and Risk.

This is a role where curiosity, critical thinking, and influence come together. You’ll analyse data, identify trends, and take ownership of investigations – working closely with stakeholders to mitigate risk, strengthen controls, and continuously enhance our oversight framework. You’ll also contribute to key projects that shape how we engage with our intermediary partners, ensuring our practices stay aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.

What

will your day look like?
  • Build trusted relationships with dealers and brokers, ensuring a professional and compliant experience at every interaction.
  • Provide effective first‑line risk oversight, supporting the Sales team in identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Analyse business data to identify trends and early warning signals, presenting insights and recommendations that drive improvement.
  • Take ownership of complex investigations and escalated findings in line with governance frameworks.
  • Support the ongoing development of our Dealer Oversight Framework and contribute to regulatory projects.
  • Deliver clear, actionable feedback to management and help shape training and process improvements.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory developments and maintain strong product and industry knowledge.
What do we expect from you?
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience working with data – comfortable interpreting and presenting complex information clearly.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Confidence in managing investigations and making balanced, evidence‑based decisions.
  • A commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
  • A sound understanding of regulatory compliance and Motor Finance legislation.
What can you expect from us?
  • A hybrid working policy, 2 days per week onsite in our central Cardiff office.
  • A friendly and flexible culture, the same as how we work with our customers.
  • A growing organisation that means there’s lots of opportunities to progress.
  • A drive for continuous improvement, which you will be empowered to get behind from day one.
  • Competitive rewards, including an annual bonus, 10% employer contribution pension, private medical with BUPA, and 30 days holiday.
