Position: Senior Portfolio & Pricing Manager
Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading Financial Services business based in Cardiff, to recruit a Senior Portfolio & Pricing Manager.

The Role

My client is going through an exciting period of growth and transformation, and this role will focus on developing and improving my client's understanding of customer behaviour and profitability analytics, and will require you to lead on financial modelling to support long-range planning and scenario-based decision-making.

Leading a small team, the role will also require you to provide commercial insight and modelling expertise to inform and challenge product participation and pricing strategies, and will support new product launches and pricing changes.

From a stakeholder management perspective you will interact closely and deliver projects in collaboration with the Balance Sheet Management team and Product Managers.

The Candidate

The successful candidate must be comfortable building new models and possess a data-focused/statistical background, along with experience working in a Pricing, Modelling or Analytics function within Financial Services. The models are largely Excel based, but SQL experience will also be key, and experience of Power BI a definite advantage.

You will ideally be comfortable working quite independently at times and delivery / outcome focused, and you will be required to be in the office 2 or 3 days a week.

This is a very commercial role where you can use advanced analytics and data-driven approaches to drive decision-making and gain deep insights into customer behaviour, and a role where you can really have an impact
