Job DescriptionAttention all qualified Accountants. My client, a leading Not for Profit organisation based in Cardiff is looking for a Management Accountant to join their Finance team on a Permanent basis. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, the Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in the team. Duties will include, but not limited to;
- Prepare and post monthly journals
- Prepare Cost and Balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce insightful month end financial reports to support decision-making processes including variance analysis.
- Develop financial plans, budgets and run rates for business areas.
- Deliver detailed cost analysis to deliver operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance financial processes.
- Provide support for audits and ensure accurate financial documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities.
- Deliver clear financial advice to stakeholders within the organisation.
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Competitive salary paying up to £45,000 per annum.
