First Choice Housing Association is looking for a Senior Public Relations Manager to lead delivery of our public affairs work, identify risks and opportunities, and co-ordinate public affairs activities across FCHA. The role will require networking experience and the ability to build strong relationships locally.

The right person will be an enthusiastic individual to join our team, with strong values that match those of the organisation. Senior Public Relations Manager:
The Work

Work will include:

  • Ensuring social housing remains a cross-party political priority and that housing associations are viewed as key players in ending the housing crisis in Wales
  • Championing the value and impact of Supported Housing and specialist supported housing, ensuring their benefits are recognised and promoted across the politicalspectrum.
  • Leading delivery of our public affairs work, identifying risks and opportunities, coordinating public affairs activity across FCHA.
  • Building strong relationships on a cross-party basis locally with MS’s, MP’s ad local elected members, raising the agenda for people with a learning disability

Work hours

Standard full time hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours including generous time off in lieu arrangements. We also offer agile working with a blend of home/office working. A working from home allowance is also provided of £50pcm.

Salary

£48,664 – £53,598 per annum
