Senior Technical Consultant

£95,000 + benefits + discretionary bonus
Remote (UK-based) | Travel to client sites as required (typically 1-2 days per week)
Must be eligible to obtain SC clearance

We are partnering with a leading digital consultancy to appoint a Senior Technical Consultant. You will be a trusted advisor who can shape architectural decisions, guide delivery strategy, and provide expert technical leadership across complex digital transformation programmes.

Around 80% of the role will be client-facing, working closely with senior stakeholders to advise on architecture, delivery strategy, and ensure successful project outcomes. The remaining 20% will focus internally, supporting the Digital Director and delivery teams in resolving technical challenges, improving processes, and strengthening practice capability.

• Lead and guide technical delivery across multiple programmes, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to business goals.
• Shape technical strategy and architecture decisions, influencing at senior level.
• Provide governance and assurance across software, infrastructure, Dev Ops, and data solutions (Azure environment).
• Mentor internal teams and contribute to continuous improvement across the consultancy.

• Proven experience in a senior technical or architecture leadership role within consultancy or complex delivery environments.
• Strong technical breadth across software engineering, Dev Ops, cloud (Azure), and infrastructure.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to influence senior audiences and simplify complex decisions.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on quality, governance, and delivery assurance
• Eligible for SC security clearance (UK resident for at least 5 years).
