- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents.
- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Identify, document, track, and report software defects.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues.
- Perform UI and API testing.
- Validate application functionality against business requirements.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on potential quality risks.
- Execute test cases and maintain test execution reports.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure software quality standards and testing processes are followed.
- Provide timely status updates on testing progress and defects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
- Good understanding of test case design techniques.
- Experience with defect management tools such as Jira or Azure Dev Ops.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
