Agricultural Property Litigation Solicitor – 1+ PQE Overview

TSR Legal are currently partnered with a leading legal 500 firm in Cardiff who are seeking an Agricultural Property Litigation Solicitor to join their highly successful agricultural Cardiff team. The successful candidate will act for farming families, landowners, estates, rural businesses, and agribusiness clients on a wide range of contentious property and land-related matters. This role combines high-quality litigation work with the opportunity to build strong relationships within the agricultural community

Handle a varied caseload of agricultural and rural property disputes, including:

• Agricultural tenancy disputes
• Boundary disputes, rights of way and easement issues
• Adverse possession claims
• Access to Neighbouring Land Act applications
• Nuisance, trespass, and encroachment matters
• Drainage, water rights, and land management disputes
• Proprietary estoppel and farming partnership disputes
• Contractual disputes relating to land, farming arrangements, and agri-business

As a Solicitor you will be responsible for providing clear, strategic advice to clients, balancing legal, commercial, and practical considerations.

This will include:

• Preparing pleadings, witness statements, settlement negotiations, and conduct advocacy where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with the firm’s non-contentious agricultural property team.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships within the rural sector, including estate managers, surveyors, land agents, and agricultural advisors.
• Support business development initiatives, attend industry events, and contribute to marketing activities.
