Personal Injury Lawyer (FTC)

C. 9‑month fixed‑term contract, salary GBP 40,000 (hybrid work 3 days in‑office, 2 days remote). Eligible to apply if you hold PQE or are a qualified solicitor/chartered legal executive.
- Full conduct of a claimant litigated multi‑track personal injury caseload, from pre‑action stage through settlement or trial, maintaining compliance with CPR and relevant protocols.
- Obtain and analyse initial instructions, advise on liability, causation and quantum, develop case strategy, diarise critical deadlines, and proactively manage procedural, evidential, limitation and costs exposure.
- Prepare, review and finalise key litigation documentation: statements of case, schedules of loss, witness evidence, applications, directions, and detailed instructions to counsel and expert witnesses.
- Instruct and liaise with medical and non‑medical experts, oversee disclosure, compile trial‑ready bundles (including electronic), and attend CMCs, PTRs and interlocutory hearings, with scope for routine advocacy.
- Lead settlement efforts through Part 36 offers, ADR and negotiations, secure interim payments and coordinate rehabilitation following recognised industry guidance.
- Work independently within a hybrid model (3 days office, 2 days remote).
