Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 (dependent on experience)
A leading UK conveyancing firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Team Manager to lead a team of Property Lawyers in its Cardiff office. Known for combining modern technology with a people‑first approach, the firm is committed to transforming the home moving experience and driving positive change across the industry.
This is an ideal opportunity for a career‑minded professional with extensive residential conveyancing and team management experience.
The Role- You will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a busy conveyancing team, ensuring smooth workflow, high performance, and a positive working environment. You'll be responsible for coaching and mentoring team members, managing performance, and supporting operational goals.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a high‑performing team aligned with company values
- Apply legal expertise to support and upskill team members
- Manage performance using skills matrices and development plans
- Drive continuous improvement and embed change initiatives
- Handle client queries and complaints in line with internal procedures
- Collaborate across departments to achieve shared goals
- Oversee post‑completion processes and ensure SLA compliance
- Monitor productivity, quality, and workload distribution
- Conduct regular one‑to‑one reviews and team meetings
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training
- Assist with salary reviews and budget planning
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Extensive experience in residential conveyancing
- Proven success in managing legal teams
- A passion for coaching, mentoring, and team development
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A proactive, inclusive, and collaborative mindset
- £45,000 to £55,000 salary (dependent on experience)
