A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a major £61M Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) scheme located in the heart of Cardiff city centre. This flagship development comprises 706 units in a single high-rise RC frame block, positioned on a tight, logistically complex site. You will report directly to the Project Director and take full responsibility for driving the project from early stages through to completion.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the scheme, ensuring programme, quality, and commercial targets are achieved. Key duties include:

• Leading all day-to-day site operations on a high-rise RC frame project
• Managing subcontractors and the wider delivery team
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures on a challenging, constrained city-centre site
• Driving programme performance and mitigating delays
• Maintaining strong communication with the Project Director, design teams, and client representatives
• Overseeing logistics, sequencing, and buildability for a large-scale PBSA development
• Managing quality assurance to Tier 1 standards

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Main Contractor
• Strong track record delivering large new-build RC frame residential or PBSA schemes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, logistics, and sequencing
• Ability to manage complex, high-value projects with tight city-centre constraints
