This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading research effort exploring magneto transport in nanoscale 3D magnetic systems, linking geometric design, spin texture, and electronic functionality at the nanoscale. You will join the Cardiff 3D Nanomagnetism Group, internationally recognised for its pioneering work in 3D artificial spin-ice (3
DASI).
The successful candidate will develop and optimise novel electrical contact strategies to interface with non-planar, free-standing 3D nanostructures and subsequently study electrical transport in these systems using anisotropic magneto resistance and Hall effect measurements.
