Payrate: £12.54 per hour.

Join the Total Security Management Team as a Retail Security Officer. You will be available to cover various shift patterns and flexible working locations, and respond to changes in working patterns.

• Protect customers and colleagues from physical and verbal abuse, providing a reassuring and professional security presence.
• Maintain a highly visible security presence that is easily identified by both customers and colleagues while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Proactively deter and prevent anti‑social behaviour, theft and criminal activity.
• Coordinate with store management, Police and other external agencies when required.
• Utilise conflict‑resolution techniques to diffuse difficult situations that may arise within the workplace.
• Identify and rectify behaviours and situations that endanger the health, safety and wellbeing of colleagues, customers and fellow officers in line with company policies.

• Team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
• Capability to work independently on own initiative.
• Retail security experience.
• Flexible approach to work to suit business needs, able to collaborate with different teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using technology.
• Ability to recognise conflict triggers and possess mediation skills.
• High ethical standards and conduct.
• Conflict resolution training.
• Frontline Door Supervision or Security Guarding Licence essential; CCTV Licence beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence beneficial.
• Ability to maximise use of BWCCTV during confrontational situations.
