Cadarn Housing Group is the parent of the Group and provides oversight and support services role. Newydd Housing Association is a charitable housing association, that offers nearly 3,000 affordable homes for rent and sale to people where need is at its greatest in Mid and South Wales, working in several local authority areas. Cadwyn Housing Association owns and manages 3,000 homes for affordable rent and low-cost home ownership as well as a range of community regeneration initiatives.

Our hostel for families provides support and accommodation to prepare families in securing and maintaining a tenancy. The hostel can be a fast paced environment, where residents are supported with a wide range of needs including domestic abuse, substance mis-use, mental ill health and child protection issues.

As a Night Hostel Assistant, you will ensure that Supported Housing tenants and stakeholders are provided with a high-quality service as the first point of contact. The role involves working with tenants who may be difficult to engage with and as such you should have the skills to build trusting and respectful relationships. The role is key to maintaining safe and secure accommodation for tenants.

You will have a good standard of education, demonstrable IT & communication skills along with the physical ability to carry out the duties of the role.

As a Night Hostel Assistant, you will need to have previous experience of maintaining a cleaning routine, health & Safety and working a waking night shift pattern.
