Solutions Architect

What that means day to day

• You’ll be a guardian of Alcumus’ systems architecture and principals, having an in-depth knowledge of them.
• Translating technical concepts between software engineering, product, and operations so they are understood by all.
• Working with business, product, and technology stakeholders to translate business problems into solutions.
• Defining a technical roadmap through iterative transitions, aligning the user need with the system requirements and long‑term organisational objectives.
• Looking beyond the immediate technical problem and identify the wider implications by knowing relevant historical context and future impact.
• Understanding how current work fits in broader contexts and strategies and looking for deeper underlying problems and opportunities.
• Owning technical governance and participate in or deliver the assurance of a service.

• AWS or professional certification. Or are working towards one.
• Extensive experience of working as a Software Developer with expertise in technologies including Java, JS / TS, .Net, Node, React, Ruby.
• Skills or experience in Dev Ops, such as CI / CD or Infrastructure as Code.
• The ability to converse in French.
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodology.
