HGV class 1 Driver

Overview

We are recruiting a C+E Tramper Driver for our site in Cardiff on a permanent contract. There will be nights out as this is a Tramping role. The role is PAYE. You will be supported with the My XPO benefits pages offering discounts. Signing and retention bonus available: you will be paid a £250 signing bonus after completing your first full week with XPO, then a further £250 retention bonus on successfully passing your probation after 12 weeks of service.

Pay, benefits and more: competitive hourly rate of £15.12 per hour, £26.40 per night out, with the opportunity to work extra shifts on top.

The role:

Monday to Friday shift pattern.

• Making 1-3 drops a day
• Up to 4 nights out a week
• Night out allowance
• Monday to Friday
• Option to buy an additional 5 days of holidays
• You will be driving new tractor units
• You will be delivering assorted roof products
• Adhering to all driving rules and regulations
• No manual handling, all loads tipped by clients, but potential for Moffett training in the future
• Sites are fully compliant and operate in a safety-driven environment

• Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement)
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
