A market-leading food business is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead its sales and growth strategy across multiple channels and geographies. This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being close to customers, products, and teams. The business operates across branded and own‑label categories, with a strong footprint in both domestic and international markets.

The head office is based in Carlisle and requires the CCO to be both in the office and out with customers regularly.

• Own and drive the commercial strategy across retail, food service, and B2B channels
• Lead and develop high-performing sales teams
• Build and strengthen relationships with major UK and international customers
• Identify new market opportunities and drive growth in chilled and frozen categories
• Collaborate closely with operations, NPD, and marketing to deliver customer-focused solutions

• Proven track record in commercial leadership within chilled or frozen food
• Strong experience across retail, food service, and B2B channels
• Comfortable operating in branded and own‑label environments
• Based in the North of England, ideally commutable to Carlisle
• Driven, hands‑on, and results-focused with excellent leadership skills
