North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust Data Quality Clerk

Working as a member of the Data Quality Team to provide thorough data entry support service across Trust core systems. You will ensure robust systems for accurate data capture, assignment, and validation.

Main duties of the job
  • Ensure accurate data entry onto patient records.
  • Finalise patient discharges on Trust systems for Emergency and Elective admissions.
  • Upload referrals onto archive system.
  • Enter and retrieve data from Trust systems, including Silver link, NHS Summary Care Record, ORMIS, Symphony and Realtime.
  • Monitor Data Quality mailbox and ensure queries are answered or escalated.
  • Retrieve and enter data, checking for accuracy and missing information.
  • Open mail delivered to the team, date stamp and action accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Undertake continued professional development, including mandatory and statutory training.
  • Respond to all enquiries in a confidential, pleasant, helpful manner.
  • Answer the telephone, take messages, and share with the identified team member.
  • Work as a team member to maintain safe storage of confidential information.
  • Maintain a clean workstation / area.
  • File any documents in a timely manner and in accordance with Trust policy.
  • Take meeting notes at team meetings.
  • Perform other ad‑hoc administrative tasks as agreed with the Data Quality Manager.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • NVQ2 in Administration or equivalent.
  • Essential IT skills or equivalent.
