Duration: 3 Months
Hourly Rate: £30.00 – £35.00
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our client’s team in Carlisle. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare setting, supporting safe and effective medicines management across a range of clinical areas.

The successful candidate will bring strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation, prescription review, and patient counselling. You will support prescribing decisions, ensure compliance with local and national guidelines, contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines across the service. You may also be involved in audits, training, and service development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience
  • GPhC registration (General Pharmaceutical Council)
  • Proven experience in a clinical pharmacy setting
  • Strong clinical and therapeutic knowledge
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
