: OTE up to £43,600 (basic £34,000 per annum plus bonus)

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our dynamic team at Carlisle Renault. You will supervise and motivate Technicians & Apprentices, review and prioritise the daily workload, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The role is a key part of our Aftersales Department, working closely with the Service Manager to achieve service targets, profits, and retention levels.

• Ensure compliance with company, DVSA, health & safety, and OEM policies.
• Confirm all service work is performed correctly, competently and on time with customer satisfaction as priority.
• Maintain relationships with the vehicle manufacturer and support technicians during repairs.
• Liaise with colleagues and other departments to deliver a top‑quality service.
• Schedule work to meet customer needs, workshop targets, job complexity, and parts availability.
• Assist with technical challenges by supporting the team and writing technical reports.

Motor industry experience managing a team in a busy Service/Workshop environment; minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent). Knowledge of COSHH legislation, trade practices, consumer legislation, and workshop quality control is essential. A full valid UK driving licence is required.
