Housing Support Worker

BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker based in Carlisle with travel to other sites.

You will be working with vulnerable young people in a hostel setting helping them with support around housing applications, tenancies and job and education opportunities.

The duties include but are not limited too.

To complete a support plan with each tenant detailing all elements of support required for their tenancy to be maintained including any signposting required. This must be reviewed on a regular basis.

To work alongside an individual in understanding how best to provide support through a thorough risk assessment process to highlight any risks to themselves, their tenancy, or others this must be reviewed on a regular basis.

To provide information, advice, and guidance to enable tenants to understand their responsibilities and support them to develop effective strategies to manage those responsibilities.

Car driver is required

This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, temp ongoing

9ams - 5pm (flexible start and finish time depending on person/situation)

Payrate- £12.24ph PAYE or £15.74ph Umbrella
