** Endocrine Outpatients Nurse – NHS Hospitals
** SJK Healthcare is urgently recruiting an experienced
** Endocrine Outpatients Nurse
** to support specialist endocrine clinics across NHS hospitals. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong experience in managing hormonal and metabolic conditions, providing patient education, and supporting consultant-led clinics.
** Key Responsibilities
** Supporting consultant-led Endocrinology clinics

Conducting clinical assessments & observations

Managing patients with a range of endocrine conditions, including:

Diabetes (Type 1 &
2)
Thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules)
Adrenal disorders (Addison’s, Cushing’s)
Pituitary conditions

Metabolic bone disease

Assisting with blood tests, endocrine investigations & clinic preparation

Medication support (insulin knowledge advantageous)
Providing patient education on lifestyle, medication adherence, and condition management

Supporting virtual/telephone follow-up clinics

Accurately documenting patient notes in EPR systems

Working alongside Consultants, HCAs, Diabetes Nurses, and AHPs
** Requirements
* *** Registered Nurse (NMC PIN required)
** Minimum
** 1 year experience
** in Endocrinology, Diabetes, General Medicine, or related area Strong understanding of endocrine conditions and treatment pathways

Confident with clinical assessments and patient education

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Able to work autonomously within busy outpatient settings

You must be living in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
