. Our team is expanding and we are looking for a creative Designer/Buyer to join the team on a permanent basis.

Doug & Grahame Ltd, t/a REMUS UOMO, 1880 Club et al. An independent fashion house boasting 100 years heritage. The brand portfolio includes REMUS UOMO, Douglas, DGs Drifter and Daniel Grahame, as well as the best-in-class school wear/boyswear brand 1880 CLUB.

As a Designer / Buyer, you will create garment collections for the company's portfolio of brands consistent with brand objectives, while affording a commercial attitude and efficient performance in delivering seasonal collections.

• Control all aspects of product development, ensuring each new collection aligns with brand DNA, desired cost structures, and quality standards.
• Create and maintain style and size specifications for new collection samples and bulk production.
• Develop appropriate branding presentation in line with brand guidelines.

The successful candidate will be trend aware and have a strong eye for design, able to create dynamic, commercial and innovative collections.

• Previous experience as a designer is essential.
• Previous experience in creating fashion garment collections is desirable.
• Relevant degree qualification in fashion or design is desirable.
• Excellent CAD skills and IT ability. Experience in Corel
  
  DRAW / Illustrator / Photoshop is desirable.
