Loughside is purpose‑built for people living with dementia, complex care needs, and those under mental health registration. Its village‑style community is centred on dignity, independence, and wellbeing, encouraging privacy, stimulation, and meaningful social connection for residents, families, and staff alike. Over 200 dedicated professionals will deliver personalised care. The facility is commissioned in partnership with the Northern Health Trust and meets the highest RQIA standards.
The RoleOur Housekeeper role is essential in providing excellent care. The Housekeeper leads the domestic and laundry teams, ensuring the Home is clean, tidy and welcoming at all times. The Housekeeper works closely with the Home Manager, care teams, and residents to build trusting relationships, creating a comfortable environment where residents feel safe and cared for.
Main Responsibilities- Oversee and perform a variety of tasks throughout the Home, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and cleaning surfaces in resident rooms, communal areas and offices, adhering to cleaning and laundry schedules.
- Manage the domestic team to guarantee that all areas—bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas and hallways—are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management.
- Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule.
- Ensure cleaning products and equipment meet COSHH regulations and are stored safely.
- Undertake any additional duties reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager.
