Position

Description:

Performs specific duties that will allow individual to progress in completion of summative assessment, learning tools, and application of skill/ability to complete processing of trimming to product specification.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Read and review training material
• Observe task being performed
• Perform tasks by repetitive practice methods
• Ensures work performance meets throughput and yield standard requirements.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:

Not applicable.

Requirements:

• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Preferred Experience/Skillset:

• Able to speak English preferred.
• Meat trimming or butchering experience.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/push/pull product more than 30 pounds occasionally.
• 100% of day spent on work floor standing and trimming.
• 100% of day spent in temperatures of 40 to 45 degrees
