Soft Play Supervisor – Job DescriptionRole Purpose

The Soft Play Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the soft play facility and café, ensuring a safe, clean, fun, and welcoming environment for children and families. The role involves delivering high standards of customer service, overseeing café operations, and ensuring full compliance with health & safety and food hygiene requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesSoft Play Operations
  • Supervise soft play activities to ensure children play safely and equipment is used correctly.

  • Enforce soft play rules and manage behaviour in a friendly, calm, and professional manner.

  • Conduct regular safety checks of play equipment and report or escalate maintenance concerns.

  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-presented soft play area throughout operating hours.

Café Duties
  • Oversee café operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficient service and quality standards.

  • Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, food, and snacks as required.

  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, allergen awareness, and cleanliness standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness of café counters, seating areas, and food preparation spaces.

Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed across soft play and café areas.

  • Accurately record and report accidents and incidents in line with procedures.

  • Uphold food safety, allergen management, and hygiene standards at all times.

Customer Experience
  • Create a welcoming, friendly, and fun environment for children and parents.

  • Support childrens parties, group bookings, and special events.

  • Respond professionally to customer queries and resolve issues where appropriate.

Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Calm, confident, and approachable when dealing with children and parents.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a café, hospitality, or food service environment.

  • Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate or willingness to obtain.

  • First Aid qualification (desirable).

  • Access

    NI clearance required.

Working Hours
  • 10:00am – 5:00pm

  • Includes weekends and school holidays
