Independent Reviewing Officer/Child Protection Conference ChairPay rate £40 per hourContract roleVitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work as a Child Protection Conference Chair in a Team in Castleford.

An opportunity has risen for a qualified Social Worker to join the Safeguarding and Review Unit as an Child Protection Chair. The Safeguarding and Review Unit has an experienced and knowledgeable team of professionals that chair Child Protection Conferences, Child in Care Reviews, LADO and Foster Carer Reviews within Wakefield. The service works closely with internal and external partners to support the achievement of positive outcomes for children and young people in their journey through statutory services in Wakefield.

As a team we are working to develop a culture of restorative practice both within the team and with the families we work with. This is an opportunity to be an influencer, influencing social work practice through supportive links with teams and collaborative quality assurance and audit work with social workers.
