The Certified Dental Assistant role

Certified Dental Assistants at Kootenay Family Dental are a key part of helping our patients look forward to the dentist. Dental assistants are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment in compliance with health & safety standards. Dental assistants help increase the efficiency of our dentists and deliver high-quality care to each patient. Most of all, dental assistants are part of a collaborative dental team, have supportive leadership, have access to ongoing training to advance their careers, and enjoy great benefits.

Services

Schedule:

Part-time, 1 - 3 days per week, may vary week to week
Must be available to work 7:45 - 5:00 pm (some flexibility available)

The dental assistant we are looking for has:

Is certified to practice in B.C.
A high level of integrity and dependability and a focus on results
A high level of reliability with a positive work ethic

As a dental assistant at Kootenay Family Dental, you will:

Provide exceptional dental care along side our dentists with procedures including implant placement, 3D scanning, Invisalign, and general dentistry
Build long-lasting, trusting relationships with dental patients
Help patients look forward to the dentist
Book follow up appointments
Assist in treatment planning
Ensure top-notch sterilization standards
Work efficiently as a team and as an individual
