Semi Senior Accountant

We're working with a friendly and well-established firm in Wallington who are seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their team due to an upcoming staff relocation. This is a great opportunity to take on varied responsibilities in a down-to-earth, client-focused environment.

You'll be involved in preparing accounts and tax returns for a broad portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You'll work closely with senior team members and benefit from hands-on support as you continue developing your technical skills.

• Preparation of year-end accounts for SMEs and owner-managed businesses
• Personal and corporation tax returns
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Liaising directly with clients and supporting with day-to-day queries
• Supporting managers and seniors on wider practice work

• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
• Minimum 2 years  experience within an accountancy practice
• Confident preparing accounts and tax returns with minimal supervision
• Experience with Xero, Quick Books, or similar cloud-based tools
• A positive attitude and eagerness to continue progressing

• 28,000 - 34,000 depending on experience and qualifications
• Study support for ACA/ACCA or AAT
