Our client is a progressive international company with a global presence seeking to recruit a qualified accountant acting as a number two to the directors of the business. The role involves all aspects of financial and management accounts, with some oversight of the operational side of the business. Please apply immediately if you meet the qualifications below.
Candidate Specification- Must be a fully qualified accountant.
- Problem solving skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with Pegasus accounting software
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Filing with Companies House
- HMRC submissions
- IXBRL tagging
- Calculation of Corporation Tax
- Managing Excel spreadsheets and accounts, including extended trial balance
- Developing and maintaining balance scorecards
- Checking, coding, and authorizing invoices
- Handling Letters of Credit and trade finance instruments
- Knowledge of international trading and GB VAT
