Audit Manager

We are recruiting for an Audit Manager on behalf of a well-established accountancy practice based on the outskirts of Bicester. The firm offers a full range of services to a varied client base, from sole traders and SMEs through to much larger companies. As an added bonus, there is onsite parking. As Audit Manager your responsibilities will include:
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, liaising with them, communicating with them effectively throughout the audit cycle Managing teams through the planning, fieldwork and completion of audit engagements Monitoring budgets and keeping the partner updated on progress Manage and mentor junior team members with the ability to give constructive feedback Statutory accounts preparation Ensuring the effective and timely delivery of engagements Assist in tendering for new clients Maintaining and developing client relationships, both written communication and conducting face to face meetings Ensuring the firms processes and technical standards are maintained Continue developing your technical skills in all areas of the accounting and auditing standards Other ad hoc duties in line with business requirements Please do apply if you have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
Fully ACA or ACCA qualified with experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment Have a minimum of 2-4 years experience of managing audits and audit teams Strong technical knowledge and experience in IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102 Proven experience in working to tight deadlines and time management Ability to build strong relationships with staff and clients5 An aptitude for teamwork and problem solving Good general IT skills with experience with accounting and audit software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Submit your CV for this Audit Manager role Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications for this role from candidates that do not have the right to work in the UK, or require visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.
