General Office Services Assistant (6 Month FTC) - London - 37.5 hour week, between 8.30am-6.00pm

Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a General Office Services Assistant to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will provide essential day-to-day facilities support, reprographics services, and general office assistance to ensure smooth operations for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, courier bookings, and deliveries, including scanning and distribution.
  • Carry out regular post collections and distributions across all office floors.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of stationery and office supplies.
  • Conduct daily checks of printer and copier paper levels across the floors.
  • Support room set-ups, office moves, and workspace changes as required.
  • Manage confidential waste and recycling collections; ensure refuse areas remain tidy and well-maintained.
  • Maintain organisation of external office storage and archive areas.
  • Assist the reprographics team with all document-related services, including high-volume printing, scanning, photocopying, binding, and finishing.
  • Ensure all work is accurate, high-quality, and completed on time.

Ideally you will have:

  • Previous experience in facilities, office support, or reprographics (law firm experience advantageous).
  • Strong organisational skills and able to multiple tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
