Job title: Business Development Manager – Façades & Building Envelope

Industry focus: Facades, Building Envelope, Windows & Doors, Architectural Facades, Curtain Walling, Cladding, and related specification/consultancy roles.

Area to be covered: London & South East

Remuneration: £60,000 - £80,000 negotiable + profit share + EOY bonus

• Develop and promote the design, supply and installation of facades services, acting as a business development/relationship builder.
• Spend time actively securing specifications and influencing tier 1 contractors, architects, façade consultants and project quantity surveyors.
• Manage projects with average sizes in the £10m-£15m range.
• Provide technical consultancy to both contractors and specifiers in the early stages of projects.
• Aim to win approximately 6 projects per year.
• Conduct CPD seminars as part of the role.

• Experience dealing with tier 1 contractors, architects, façade consultants and project quantity surveyors.
• Preferably from a sub-contractor background; consideration given to someone from a manufacturer with direct route-to-market relationships.
• Ideally from the facades/building envelope market sector, but outside candidates may be considered if they have senior-level experience with tier 1s and architects.
• Commercially astute with excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
