Building Service Manager

Location: Marylebone

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join a commercial project team in Marylebone. This is a long-term role with the opportunity to go temp-to-perm for the right individual.

The role will cover a mix of pre-construction and live commercial projects, taking over from a freelance Building Services Manager currently on site.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate M&E services across pre-construction and live projects

* Work closely with pre-construction, design, and delivery teams

* Review and coordinate M&E designs, specifications, and programmes

* Oversee installation, commissioning, and handover of building services

* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers

* Ensure compliance with current building regulations and health & safety standards

* Attend design team and site progress meetings

* Support procurement and cost control alongside commercial teams

Project Experience Required

* Proven experience as a Building Services Manager on commercial construction projects

* Experience working on both pre-construction and live sites

* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience in a Building Services Manager role

* Strong technical knowledge of building services (M&E)

* Excellent coordination and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team

* Relevant qualifications in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering preferred
