I'm working with a large maintenance and construction provider that specialises in local authority housing works. They are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee social housing refurbishment projects across London and surrounding areas.

The scope of works includes kitchens, bathrooms, rewires, rooflines, boilers/heating, windows, and doors, delivered in occupied properties. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of sites, reporting into an Operations Manager and coordinating works to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery.

• Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple social housing refurbishment projects.
• Supervise subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring works are completed to programme, specification, and quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate works in occupied properties, maintaining a safe and well‑organised site environment.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, RAMS, and local authority requirements.
• Liaise with tenant liaison staff, residents, subcontractors, and the client to minimise disruption and resolve issues efficiently.
• Monitor progress, manage sequencing of trades, and report updates to senior management.
• Carry out site inspections, snagging, and quality checks throughout the works.
• Ensure materials, labour, and access are in place to maintain programme delivery.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and H&S documentation.

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing refurbishment or maintenance works.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen and bathroom replacements, M&E upgrades, and external refurbishment works.
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel across multiple London sites.
