Responsibilities
  • Develop an in‑depth scientific knowledge of allocated accounts and shape the communications for our clients’ brands.
  • Take the lead on scientific discussions with medics and external experts, proactively suggesting ideas valued by the client.
  • Develop content for a full range of projects and oversee, brief, and review the work of other writers.
  • Contribute to the scientific strategy, ensuring messaging and content align with the overall brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues, including account managers, creatives, editors, and medical strategists, to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
  • Share knowledge and expertise, providing expert advice and guidance on brands and therapy areas to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, guidelines, and best practices to enhance the quality of our medical writing.
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities, attending pitches, and crafting written proposals.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant science (essential) or a postgraduate qualification or PhD (desirable).
  • Proven experience in medical writing within a medical communications agency or similar environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
