MEP Commissioning Lead – Dornan

Join our team as the MEP Commissioning Lead and be the driving force behind safe, high‑quality commissioning across our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate commissioning activities for M&E systems.
  • Represent Dornan’s values of integrity, safety, quality, pride, and dependability.
  • Attend client, subcontractor, and project team meetings, providing M&E expertise.
  • Develop, review and enforce commissioning plans, RAMS and ITCA documentation.
  • Manage sub‑contractor testing, witness testing and quality control inspections.
  • Produce commissioning site reports and as‑built documentation.
  • Communicate project progress to stakeholders and keep them informed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning defects promptly.
  • Assist Project Engineers with QA/QC hand‑over packs and site investigation reports.
  • Lead safety, health and environmental oversight on site.
  • Support people‑management duties and ensure team adherence to company policies.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of full commissioning lifecycle for MEP systems.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of project cost drivers.
  • Strong health, safety and environmental (HSE) knowledge.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills across disciplines.
  • Ability to produce detailed commissioning documentation and reports.
  • Experience with ITCA activity management and coordination with project teams.
  • Leadership skills – setting and enforcing safety and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commissioning software.
