Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer (5609)

In Bridges and Civil Structures this entails using 3D solid modelling, automation tools, coding, databases, data analytics and AI. We seek candidates with aptitude and interest in developing in these areas alongside traditional engineering skills.

• Deliver effective and professional services for a range of varied and high-profile clients in Bridges and Civil Structures.
• Contribute from day one while gaining support to progress and broaden your understanding.
• Involve design and construction planning of bridge and tunnel projects and related structures, including 3D modelling and digital approaches where appropriate.
• Apply knowledge of general bridge and structural behaviour to develop practical solutions that meet client needs.
• Collaborate with teams on projects such as pedestrian bridges, long-span bridges, tunnel shafts and portals, and related infrastructure work.

• Master’s degree in civil engineering or structural engineering from an ICE or IStruct
  
  E accredited course.
• Strong numerical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with a drive for technical excellence.
• Understanding of general bridge and structural behaviour and ability to apply it to practical solutions.
• Aptitude to work on your own initiative, be proactive and take responsibility.
• Interest in and application of digital skills, such as computer coding for design automation and problem-solving is an advantage.
