AboutThe Role
We have a fantastic career opportunity for a creative Senior Acoustic Engineer to join our team in London, with close collaboration to our connected teams around the UK. The role involves contributing to a fast-changing industry and delivering healthy, attractive and valuable acoustic solutions for future generations. You will work on cutting-edge projects across sectors, from music venues to modern workplaces, and help push the boundaries of acoustical engineering within a collaborative environment that values technical excellence and innovation.
In this key and varied role, you can expect to:
- Work as part of a project team to develop designs on large-scale projects.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects from inception to completion and handover, with supervision.
- Measure sound inside and outside buildings using appropriate tools.
- Carry out calculations and analyses using in-house programs and commercial software.
- Liaise with clients and project teams in meetings.
- Produce clear written advice, sketches, presentations, audio demos, and interactive media.
- Contribute to a culture of creativity and innovation, influencing improvements in acoustic quality.
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
- Experience working in Acoustic Engineering.
- A bachelor's or master’s degree related to Acoustic Engineering.
- A degree in another discipline may be considered if complemented with an IOA Diploma.
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently.
- A friendly, ambitious and positive attitude with a flexible approach.
