Town Planner, Central London

Seeking new heights in the planning and development sector. As a Planner or Assistant Planner (experience dependent), you could maximise your potential for professional growth with unmatched exposure to landmark London projects, the opportunity to liaise with associated high‑profile clients and the support of a high‑performing team in a league of their own.

In this role you would have the opportunity to manage and assist on a wide variety of projects through multiple Partners; from ultra‑modern skyscrapers in central London, to new local landmarks and ground‑breaking sports stadia in the surrounding boroughs. The team enjoy regularly working from a stunning central London office and promote a social, collaborative and supportive working environment. This well‑established entrepreneurial business operates free from the bureaucracy and slow processes of larger corporates, eager to promote Planners for their commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Managing major projects and overseeing smaller development management processes, and assisting senior colleagues on more major developments.
  • Cultivating and maintaining client relationships by offering precise advice and effective communication on a regular basis.
  • Managing pre‑application tasks and guiding planning applications through the development cycle.
  • Writing representations to local authorities for potential site promotions.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of professional planning experience within consultancy, developer or local planning authority (LPA).
  • A strong skill set and expertise in development management.
  • Ideally working towards your RTPI APC, recently submitted or MRTPI.
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
