A leading Japanese IT company based in central London is seeking an AWS Solutions Engineer to support the migration and maintenance of its Treasury Management System to the cloud. The role covers a wide range of responsibilities including system requirement definition, release management, troubleshooting, infrastructure building, and migration to cloud environments. This is an ideal position for someone with a solid understanding of financial operations or experience with IIS and AWS-based development and infrastructure.

• Development & Maintenance of Treasury Management System (TMS):
  Full-cycle involvement in feature design, development, and operations; system improvement and optimization for stability; collaborate with the finance department to understand business requirements and define specifications; manage the process from design through to release.
• System Infrastructure and Cloud Migration:
  Build and manage environments using Windows Server and IIS; plan and execute migration to AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Cloud Watch, etc.); propose and implement improvements considering performance and security.
• Development Tools & Automation:
  Use version control tools (e.g., Git) and task management systems to streamline development; plan and implement process improvement and automation; work in a Dev Ops-style environment to integrate development and operations.

• Experience in designing and building AWS architectures.
• Experience managing AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Cloud Watch, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in development and maintenance of financial systems.
• Practical experience with SQL for queries and data extraction.
• IIS and Windows Server administration experience.
• Involvement in system migration or replacement projects.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, etc.) are a plus.
• Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English.
