Derivatives​/Hedging Lawyer

Our client, one of the largest banks in Asia, that provides specialist corporate and investment banking services to an international client base, is now looking for a derivatives lawyer on a permanent basis to join their established and highly regarded London legal team.

Despite challenging times for some of its competitors, this organisation is stable and performing very well, and this is not a 'replacement' but a new role, in line with this growth, so it's a great time to join.

In this role you will:

• Review, advise and the support the execution of a range of loan-linked hedging deals, in particular project finance, leveraged finance, real estate, corporate acquisitions, buyouts and recapitalisations;
• Advise on a broad range of derivatives related documentation; masters, schedules, credit support annexes, security and loan documentation and intercreditor agreements;
• support the front office in the management of legal risk for the EMEA wide business.

What are we looking for?

• A qualified lawyer with experience in derivatives documentation;
• In-house experience is desirable;
• Experience in hedging leveraged finance deals would be useful.
