Position: Revenue Accountant (Permanent)

Revenue Accountant

Pinpoint Resourcing are working with a media business based in London who are actively seeking a Revenue Accountant to oversee the end to end revenue process.

Duties:

* Manage end-to-end revenue recognition in line with accounting standards.

* Review timesheets and supplier costs to ensure accurate accruals and forecasts.

* Reconcile WIP, deferred revenue, and accrued income balances.

* Prepare revenue reports with key movements and variances.

* Streamline and improve revenue recognition processes.

* Work with project teams to forecast revenue and monitor margins.

* Review project profitability and WIP; identify risks and corrective actions.

* Manage intercompany revenue allocations for multi-studio projects.

* Supervise and mentor an Accountant.

* Act as the main finance contact for revenue-related issues.

* Produce monthly KPIs and variance analyses.

* Build dashboards to improve revenue visibility.

Requirements:

* 4+ years experience working in a similar role

* Advanced Excel skills;
Power BI or similar data visualisation experience an advantage.

* Strong knowledge of project based accounting principles

Salary + other information:

* £50,000 - £65,000 DOE

* 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
