Loan Transaction Coordinator – J.P. Morgan – London – 6 months contract – Onsite – PAYE
We are seeking a Loan Transaction Coordinator within the Wholesale Lending Services team to join JP Morgan on a 6-month contract in London where you will be involved in the coordination of complex syndicated and bilateral loans for the Corporate & Investment Banking, Corporate and Commercial Banking, and Trade Finance sectors. For this role, we are seeking candidates with expertise in LoanIQ, syndicated loans, and credit agreements.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Serve as the senior point of contact in Wholesale Lending, proactively managing a portfolio of complex structured, leveraged, and high‑grade loan transactions across Investment and Commercial Banks
- Coordinate the execution and closing of complex structured loan transactions across multiple lines of business, including CIB EMEA Debt Capital Markets and CB CCBSI
- Own and oversee syndicated loan closing mechanics, ensuring documentation, regulatory requirements (KYC, FinCEN), and conditions precedent are satisfied prior to execution
- Review funds flows and legal loan documentation to ensure operational feasibility, optimal execution, regulatory compliance, and mitigation of operational risk
- Facilitate pre‑closing coordination with internal and external stakeholders, driving issue resolution and serving as a primary control and escalation point
- Act as a subject‑matter expert and project lead, providing input to working groups to enhance performance, efficiency, and best practices
- Proven experience in syndicated loan operations and transaction coordination
- Deep understanding of syndicated loan products, credit agreements, funding mechanics, ticking fees, and funds flows
- Skilled in reviewing, commenting on, and negotiating operational and regulatory provisions within legal loan documentation
- Proficient in LoanIQ for managing, tracking, and monitoring syndicated loan transactions
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive execution in fast‑paced, dynamic environments
- Skilled communicator and problem‑solver, adept at managing complex requirements and adapting quickly under pressure
