Job Description- Daily margin call management, reconciling, and settling cash/crypto collateral movements.
- Monitoring of client exposures and margin levels, escalating to Risk and Senior Management when necessary.
- Adopt a model of continuous improvement to refine collateral and clearing risk management processes, enhance controls and embrace new methods and technologies.
- Horizon scan to increase awareness of potential operational risks affecting the business.
- Continuously drive for enhanced efficiency and client service for all collateral management and clearing risk processes.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance with margin processes.
- Managing digital asset and fiat trade settlement and communicating with internal and external counterparts to ensure timely and accurate settlements.
- Trade reconciliation from post‑trade to settlement to ensure correct and timely settlement.
- Liaising internally with the wider trading, OTC and options teams on balances and settlement status, and providing administrative and client communication support where needed.
- Asset rebalancing and whitelisting of crypto addresses across multiple CEXs and DEXs.
- 3+ years of prior experience in a collateral management or risk clearing function.
- 3+ years of prior trading and/or trading operations experience, with settlements and trading reconciliation at its core, preferably including crypto assets.
- Experience in a crypto or traditional banking environment across multiple currencies and managing different forms of money transfers/wires, and clearing/settlement within cut‑off times.
- Knowledge of financial products including spot and derivative instruments and leveraged instruments.
- Understanding of exchanges, clearing houses, initial & variation margin.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, etc.).
- Based in the London area and able to work in a hybrid arrangement.
- Strong SQL, Python skills to develop and query margin monitoring tools.
- Extremely strong attention to detail.
- Self‑organized and excellent communication.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Passion for digital assets and blockchain technologies, and understanding of asset transfers across CEXes and DEXes.
- Adaptable, strong team player in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent in English.
